PACKAGING DESIGN

For this project we were told to look for a box template on the internet then create a design for the package. I found the flower box and really like it and I thought potpourri would go great with the whole flower idea. There is actually a company that makes potpourri called Agraria so i redesigned their boxes of potpourri. I made this project on Illustrator. 

RESUME

After completing the personal logo we were to use that same logo and incorporate it into a resume for ourselves. Obviously not just a typical boring resume. Now was our chance to do something creative with our resumes. I made it in Illustrator. You can't really see because the image is so small but the flower petals and the leaf are all personal traits, instead of just listing them. 

PERSONAL LOGO

We were instructed to design a personal logo. I made mine in Illustrator. It had to be able to reprint in back and white so thats why I included both. I just used my initials and looks at them and wondered how I could make them go together better. It reminded me a bit of a project we did last year in Illustrator where we took our initials and joined them somehow. This years turned out much much better than last years. I feel the designs nicely balanced with the lines. 

CHILDREN'S BOOK

We were to redesign the cover of a children's book. I chose the Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch. I got the basic images in there that pretty much describe the whole book, her in the paper bag, the big dragon that sets things on fire and the tiny graphic of her in love with her prince. I made the whole thing in Illustrator.

WORDLESS ALPHABET

This project we were told to chose six words and incorporate the first letter of the word into the image. I created these all in Illustrator and tried to keep it pretty much simple color wise and all only using two or three different colors in each one. I enjoyed this project and thought it was pretty cute. I would love to continue and make the whole alphabet.

BUD, SPUD & STEAK

We were to design a ticket for the bud spud a steak the football team was having. I made it all in Illustrator. I pretty much went the football idea for the design clearly.. and its just all based on the fact that the football team was having the bud spud and steak and that the money was all for the football team. 

KEC GRAD WEAR

Someone from the school asked us to design the grad wear for the 2010 grads. I didn't put too much effort into this one just threw together some kind of typical look for the grad wear in Illustrator then added it to the sweaters in Photoshop.
