Kite

For this project we were given instructions on how to make a kite. After making the kite i took a picture of it then using Photoshop gave it a not to realistic background.

Brochures

For this project we were told to make brochures advertising something or giving information. I used Photoshop to make a lot of both brochures then I put it together in InDesign.

Magazine Layout

I had to choose a magazine article and then design the layout for it. I made it in InDesign and then created the pictures in photoshop.

Magazine Advertisments

For this project we made three magazine advertisements. We were given our first two, then we had the choice of what the third add would be. I was given running shoes which i did Puma shoes, then i was given a computer add so i made a macbook add. For my own choice i made an add for the t.v. show Ace of Cakes. We made these adds in photoshop

CD Designs

For this project we had to design informational CD covers and labels. It took me a while to decide on which ones i was going to do. We made them in photoshop then had to find an image of a CD case and a CD and incorporate the two together, creating the finished product.

Drink Lables

For this project we were told two redesign a drink label and put it on to a can. We were not allowed to use any pictures off of the internet, we had to make our own. I was really not looking forward to that part. We were also only supposed to use Adobe Illustrator for the design part of the label, then place to the label onto the can in Adobe Photoshop. At first i was not thrilled about only designing in Adobe Illustrator. I have grown a lot more comfortable with Photoshop and did not want to do a good half of the project in Illustrator. For this project i had decided to redesign the drink Fruitopia. It took me a really long time to finally decide how i was going to make the label come together, but once i decided what i was going to do it was easy designing all three of them.
